Second Floor Started

Here's the first second floor joist going in today.



By the end of the day, we had quite a few in place - some for the master bedroom, and some for the master bath.





They also framed out the corner window that will be in Cathy's "corner office" overlooking the pool:

Speaking of corner windows, the framers built up the frame for the cantilevered (sticking out) front window in the living room. You've got to see it to believe it:





And they also installed 3 more of the Hardy Panels to support the second floor. These looked to be a pain to install - they had to embed some major bolts into the foundation and slide them in past the rim joists.
